About Us

Staid Systems is your trusted advisor and facilitates Low Pressure Sewer System (LPS) sales, marketing, design, implementation and operation on the European markets.

Founded in 2020 by Torjörn Jansson who has 40+ years experience in international sales, design and build in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Poland were Skandinavisk Kommunalteknik AB (SKT) have more than 80,000 pumping units in operation and for those markets, Staid Systems is working in cooperation with SKT.

The grinder pump, the motor in a LPS system is manufactured and provided by Environment One Corporation (EOne) in New York and for European markets outside Scandinavia and Poland, Staid Systems is working directly with EOne to channel products and know-how.

Staid Systems is in the process of developing two new business branches, Marine Systems and Property development. Two interesting spin-offs from solving waste water issues in rural and archipelago environments.

Low Pressure Sewer Systems

Low-pressure sewer (LPS), gravity-independent, contour-following sewage collection systems were pioneered by Environment One.
E/One Sewer® systems in Albany (NY) and have proven to be an economical and effective method of sewering otherwise difficult land areas, such as flat, wet, rocky and hilly terrain.

At the heart of an E/One Sewer® is the grinder pump, developed by Environment One. These units accept household sanitary waste, grind it into a fine slurry, and pressurize it to permit transport through small-diameter pipes. E/One Sewer Systems serve over 1 million end-users daily.

The grinder pump units are installed at each home and collects wastewater from the home, grinds it and pumps it to a larger sewer main or directly to a wastewater treatment plant.

While gravity sewer systems often use large mains that are installed in deep trenches, pressure sewer pipes may be as small as 1-1/2" inches (40mm) in diameter and follow the contour of the land. These small trenches can equal huge savings.

Pressure sewer systems are used in areas where a conventional gravity sewer system cannot be installed, or is too expensive to do so.

Skandinavisk Kommunalteknik brought LPS® and EOne grinder pumps to Scandinavia back in 1975 and has defined the industry by designing a wide range of pumping stations and robust frost protection for the nordic conditions and demands.
